(in Mahayana Buddhism) a person who is able to reach nirvana but delays doing so out of compassion in order to save suffering beings. I meet the qualifications for being a Bodhisattva. My views and understanding have developed, and that is reflected in the delusion getting more and more subtle.

I have concluded that in order to fulfill my potential for this one fleeting life that I have, I henceforth consider myself to be a Bodhisattva. I am here to help. The only rational direction my mind seems to go considering the dukkha I see in the world is compassion. I want other people to know what I know.
Hence, I am a Bodhisattva and I will become a Buddha. This site will chronicle the Bodhisattva path. I am very excited for the next chapter of this journey.
What’s on the agenda:
Take formal Bodhisattva vows.
Acquire a little Buddha statue or something
Continue answering questions on Dharma Overground.
Continue sitting, standing, walking, working, and playing.
